Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated 13 August 2026
These terms apply to the wofo.pk app and this website. By creating an account or booking a job you accept them. They are written in plain English on purpose — if a clause below is unclear, that is a fault worth telling us about.
Draft, pending legal review. This document describes how wofo.pk actually works and was written to be accurate about it. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer qualified in Pakistan. Have it checked before relying on it in a dispute or submitting it to an app store.
1.What wofo.pk is
wofo.pk is a marketplace. We introduce households to independent tradespeople, handle the booking and the billing, and give both sides the tools to agree a price and see the job through.
We do not carry out the work. Workers on wofo.pk are independent — they are not our employees, they set their own prices and hours, and the contract for the work itself is between you and them. What we are responsible for is the platform, the verification we say we do, and the billing.
2.Accounts
- You must be 18 or over, and the details on your account must be your own and accurate.
- You are responsible for what happens through your account, so keep the phone or password that opens it to yourself.
- One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.
- We may suspend an account that is being used to defraud, harass or endanger somebody. Where we can, we will say why.
3.Verification, and what it does and does not mean
Workers do not list themselves. A worker submits their trade and identity documents, and a member of our staff reviews them before that worker appears anywhere in the app. Approval can be refused, and it can be withdrawn.
What that check means is that we have seen documents identifying the person and evidencing their trade. It is not a guarantee of the quality of any particular piece of work, and it is not a professional licence or an insurance policy. Ratings on a worker’s profile come only from households whose jobs they actually completed, and they are the better guide to how the work turns out.
4.Prices, and additions to them
Every job is quoted as one fixed price before it starts, and the worker confirms that figure at your door before beginning. The total you see may include a platform fee, tax and, for an emergency booking, a surcharge — all of it shown before you confirm.
If the job turns out to need more than was agreed:
- The worker sends the addition as a request, with an amount and a reason.
- You approve or decline it. Work covered by a declined request is not owed.
- If you have set a ceiling for automatic approval, additions at or below it are added without asking. Anything above it still comes to you.
A worker who does extra work without an approved request cannot bill you for it through wofo.pk.
5.Payment
- You choose cash, card or your wofo wallet per booking.
- Card and wallet payments are handled by a payment provider. Card details do not reach our servers.
- Cash is paid directly to the worker at the end of the job. The invoice records it either way.
- Every completed job produces a numbered invoice in the app. Quote that order number to support and nobody has to ask you to explain the job twice.
6.Cancelling
You can cancel a booking from the app. Cancelling before a worker has set off costs nothing. Cancelling once a worker is on their way, or after they have arrived, may incur a charge covering their travel — the app tells you before you confirm, and it will not be a figure you have not seen.
A worker may also decline or cancel. If that happens you are not charged, and if the job was paid for in advance it is refunded.
7.Your side of a booking
- Give an address and a description that are accurate. A worker who cannot find you or cannot do the job as described has still travelled.
- Be there, or arrange for someone to be.
- Provide safe access to the work. A worker may refuse to start if a site is unsafe, and that is their right.
- Treat the worker civilly. Abuse, harassment or discrimination ends the job and may end your account.
8.If you are a worker
- Do the work you accepted, at the price you agreed, to the standard your trade expects.
- Accepting a job costs coins. Coins are how the platform charges for work sent to you; a commission per trade is also applied and is shown in your earnings.
- Accepting and then dropping a job leaves somebody waiting in. It is recorded, and repeated cancellations are reviewed.
- Your live position is shared with a customer only while you are travelling to their job.
- Withdraw your earnings to a bank account or wallet in your own name. Withdrawals are reviewed before they are paid.
- You are responsible for your own tax, tools, insurance and any licence your trade requires.
9.Ratings and reviews
Only a customer whose job was completed can rate it. We do not edit reviews to flatter anybody and we do not delete a review because it is unfavourable. We will remove one that is abusive, contains someone’s personal details, or is clearly not about the work.
10.If something goes wrong
Raise it from inside the job in the app, or contact us at help@wofo.pk or 042 111 000 111. Support is reachable before the work as well as after it — the moment the two of you disagree about what was agreed is the moment a third party is useful.
For a dispute about the work itself, we will look at the job record: the agreed price, the requests and approvals, the conversation and the timestamps. That record is the reason the app keeps it.
11.What we are responsible for
We are responsible for providing the platform with reasonable skill and care, for carrying out the verification described in clause 3, and for billing you correctly.
We are not responsible for the standard of an independent worker’s work, for loss or damage they cause, or for anything arranged privately between you and a worker outside the app — and if you arrange it outside the app, none of the protections in these terms apply. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the value of the job in question, except where the law does not permit that limit.
Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under Pakistani consumer law.
12.Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from the app, under Profile. Deletion is refused while a booking is still in progress — cancel it first. What is deleted and what is retained is set out in the Privacy Policy.
13.Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as the service changes. A material change will be notified in the app rather than made quietly here, and continuing to use wofo.pk afterwards means accepting the revised terms. The date at the top is the current version.
14.Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
